I love the way this one turned out, it’s quite small with a 43cm seat tube, but it looks properly balanced even with 700x30 wheels.
Because the front end needed to be quite low, I shortened up my typical fork and squeezed the head tube as small as possible.
The Ellis headbadge looks great on the contrasting white headtube with the silver Ritchey Classic headset.
Ellen opted for a white panel on the seat tube which really highlights my “Handbuilt in Wisconsin” artwork.
A custom steel fork for flat mount disc brakes allows me to use modern parts and accommodate Ellen’s unique fit needs. It’s a plus that it looks and rides great too.
Ellis probably won’t use the Tubus rack all that often, but I made sure it mounted up perfectly and is ready for credit card touring.
